The U.S. Courthouse in Jacksonville opened in late 2002. It is a 14 story metal and glass structure with a four story rotunda that serves as the entrance form the plaza level. The U.S. Courthouse has the distinction of being the second courthouse designed to meet new federal safety specifications.


Magnus Research Consultants: A Reminder of Who We Are
The first courthouse image of 2005 presents a good opportunity for us to re-introduce ourselves and remind you of who we are and what we do. Magnus Research Consultants was founded in 1993 by Dr. Melissa Pigott and David Fauss. Magnus’ primary business is in assisting attorneys prepare for trials, mediations, and arbitrations. We conduct attitude surveys, mock trials, and focus groups; prepare fact and expert witnesses to testify; select juries; and perform a myriad of other services related to increasing attorneys’ effectiveness in all phases of litigation. Magnus is psychology based in its focus; Dr. Pigott and our two other litigation consultants are all Ph.D. level psychologists. Together, we have worked on thousands of mock trials, in hundreds of cases, throughout the U.S.
