Lake County Courthouse,
Fifth Judicial Circuit, Tavares, Florida
The historical Lake County Courthouse in Tavares is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The four story Classical Revival building has eight Ionic columns on the front. An unusual feature is the monument base of the flagpole, which is comprised of stones from Lake County citizens' native states and countries.
