The Columbia County Courthouse is in Lake
City, formerly known as "Alligator." The courthouse,
built in 1905, is buff and yellow brick, and of Greek Revival
style. Several war memorials are located in the park opposite
the courthouse.

- Credibility - credibility is comprised

side;
- Clarity - jargon, overstatements,
and coloquialisms should be avoided at all times;
- Concise statements - the question
that has been asked should be answered directly and with
brevity; and
- Candor - an effective witness is
natural, sincere, and exhibits grace under pressure.
